Dear Payne Panthers Community, 

It is my pleasure to share that your very own Dr. Aileen La Corte, Principal of Payne Elementary, has been selected as this year’s Mountain View School District (District) Administrator of the Year.

This annual recognition honors outstanding leadership across our District administrative team—including principals, assistant principals, deans of instruction, and directors—and Dr. La Corte exemplifies the very best of Mountain View.

Through the nomination process, her colleagues in Administration described her as a unifying presence who brings people together with kindness, professionalism, and purpose. She is deeply engaged with both students and staff, holding high expectations while providing the support needed to ensure success for all. Known for her humility, Dr. La Corte consistently centers her work on what matters most—her students, staff, and families.

Under her leadership, Payne Elementary continues to shine. Whether hosting district events or fostering a strong school culture, her team reflects the tone she sets—one of care, excellence, and belonging.

On Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the District Office, 3320 Gilman Rd., El Monte, CA 91732 (Google Maps) we will celebrate both La Primaria students and staff and our outstanding Administrator of the Year, Dr. La Corte. We hope to see you there!
