Dear Payne Families and Staff, 

The El Monte Police Department (EMPD) notified our administration that they have closed streets in and around the intersection of Maxson Rd. and Valley Blvd. 

Please be aware that the police presence in the area is not related to our students or our school campuses in any way.

Changes to Dismissal at Payne

Due to the potential street closures today, we will only be dismissing students at the front of our school, along Mountain View Rd. Families are encouraged to allow extra time for student pick-up today, as you may encounter street closures in the surrounding area of the affected intersection. 

If anything changes between now and the end of our Max Learning Program dismissal at 6 p.m., we will communicate here.
